Ascendum is seeking a talented .net/C# Application Developer to join our team of skilled information systems and technology consultants in the Cincinnati area.
Job Description:
Designs, develops, tests, debugs, maintains and documents software components.
Demonstrates/applies knowledge of application modeling, design and development.
Develops time estimates for project deliverables.
Provides alternative solutions and technical expertise across a range of applications, systems and/or technologies.
Collaborates with end users and project team members on development of requirements and design of applications.
Advise manager of risks, issues, and concerns.
Maintain expertise in technology and development
Job Requirements Include:
5-7+ years experience with a C#.Net applications
5-7 years of experience with development of web-based applications using HTML, JavaScript, and CSS.
3-5 years of SQL experience.
3+ years experience working on projects involving other teams
Knowledge of industry best practices and design patterns.
Knowledge of object-oriented concepts & SOA.
Experience using XML, XSL, XSLT, ANT and CVS.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Strong attention to detail and problem solving skills.
Must be self-motivated and take initiative.
Customer-service oriented and able to work in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment.
Strong organizational skills; ability to meet deadlines.
Pluses:
Experience with developing with SharePoint
Experience with Javascript
Experience in the Insurance or Finance industries is a plus
